Flower nails - step by step watercolor decoration
Flower patterns are associated primarily with the spring season, but the number of options, colors and approaches to the subject is endless, that allows you to use floral designs whenever you want.
Flowers on nails – patterns
Which option should I choose? You can paint the flowers with a hybrid, but an undoubtedly better effect can be achieved by using gel paste. An express effect is needed? Bet on stickers! You will get the most feminine and ethereal effect by painting flowers with watercolor. The blur effect will give them lightness and will fit perfectly into the spring atmosphere.
When it comes to colors, pastels are an undeniable trend - especially in spring. Yet nobody said that you cannot use the dark colors of gel lacquers and create a unique, mysterious atmosphere. Monochrome black & white flowers almost sketched with a pencil will delight as much as those in full color. Don't forget that flowers are not only a yellow center and petals - they are both roses and tulips, sunny daffodils, red poppies, delicate lilies of the valley and lovely violets. Try to make your little work of art!
Flowers on nails – step by step
1. Paint the prepared tips / nail with the color of your choice (here, Extra White 1029 gel lacquer). Cure it - 120 sec UV lamp. / LED 60 sec. On the cured surface apply Top Matt That 1097 and cure in the LED lamp for 90 seconds. Remember to cover the surface thoroughly with a matte top as the watercolor will not blur on a slippery surface.
2. Prepare a gray, brown and dark green watercolor, brush 8477 and any thin brush for nail art, e.g. 5502 (Nail Art. Long 0).
3. Use brush 8477 to paint three triangles and then blur them to the desired shape. In the next step, add 4 petals starting from the smallest triangle (COLOR FOR PETALS - MIXED BROWN + GRAY).
4. Fill the space between the petals with dark green mixed with brown.
5. Paint the leaves with strongly diluted green paint, then with brown paint and a thin 5502 brush - twigs.
6. Just soak the buds on the twigs gently with water and collect the excess with dry paper.
7. Start the leaves on the twigs by painting small triangles, it will make them the most saturated at their ends. Blur the triangle and finish (tear off the brush) only in the place where the color is the darkest.
7. Put the heavily diluted brown paint on the brush 8477 and spray it with your finger on the tips / nail.
8. Cover the nail with the matt top Matt That 1097 or the glossy Top No Wipe Quick 1098.
DONE ;)
